What a license includes
- The license never expires
- A perpetual license keeps working indefinitely on the version you are entitled to. If you never pay us again, your servers keep running.
- One year of updates and support
- Every commercial tier includes twelve months of updates from the date of purchase. After that the software carries on working — you simply stop receiving new versions.
- Updates can be renewed
- If you want to keep receiving new versions after the first year, an update subscription extends the window. It is optional: skip it and you keep the version you have.
- licenses are node-locked
- Each license is bound to a machine ID. Transfers are permitted within the limits in the agreement, for hardware replacement and migrations.
- Bought the wrong thing?
- There is a 14-day refund window if the software does not work as described and support cannot resolve it. Since there is a free edition to evaluate with, please try that first.

Quote requests
More servers than a tier covers, several products at once, or a purchase order rather than a card — email us and you will get a quote from a person. Get in touch.
Lost license keys
Keys are emailed at purchase. If one has gone missing you can retrieve it yourself with the address you bought with — no account needed. Retrieve a key ↗.
VAT and payment
Prices include VAT where it applies — a German buyer pays exactly the figure shown, of which 19% is VAT. A business can enter a VAT ID at checkout to have it deducted, and outside the EU no VAT is charged. Payment and invoicing are handled by FastSpring as merchant of record, so your invoice comes from them.

The free edition is the same software, limited to personal use.
